By 2025, Dubai hopes to host 400 global economic events annually

The emirate’s official convention bureau, Dubai Business Events (DBE), revealed last week that it had scored a significant number of new wins for this year. These include more than 40% more international association meetings and conventions, portending an auspicious year for Dubai’s business events industry.

Dubai Business Events captured 120 events for the year 2021 and beyond, involving almost 70,000 key opinion leaders, scientists, government officials, and other experts on a total of 15 sectors and professions, with Dubai at the heart of global conversations on the recovery of key sectors and professions, innovation, and economic growth.

After several events originally scheduled to take place in other countries had to be moved, organizers have found Dubai to be an attractive alternative to hold their events. Dubai has hosted many events over the past 15 months.
